Simon has over 18 years of Industry experience, having worked on an array of project types and scales:
He has been the Director & Lead design architect of Atelier Cartel Architecture
for 8 years, after founding the practise in Late 2017.

Simon completed his studies at RMIT University (Bachelor & Master of Architecture (2005-2011) + Politecnico di milano , Milan, Italy (2009-2010)
He was awarded The Australian Institute of Architects RMIT graduate of the year in 2011, as well as the Anne Butler memorial prize (RMIT) for the best overall thesis project, with a final grade of 98% under the supervision of Professor / Mentor Peter Corrigan OAM.
In 2018 Simon was invited to exhibit the work of Atelier Cartel at the 2018 International Architecture Biennial in Venice, Italy 'Unfolding Pavilion'.
Here as part of 10 emerging international architects born in the 1980's, he showcased Academic / furniture/ Art & Built Architectural works - emphasising the thematic that explored his tenure in Italy: how italian life & academic pursuit influences his art & architectural practise.
